Hello: I’m getting married at SFYC on 9/21 and am looking to arrive at the guest dock by boat. Charters are upwards of $900 which is simply too much for 1 to 1/2 hours (for a 32’ Grand Banks – which is just about perfect, because there will be 6 in our party – but there’s a 3 hour minimum)! I’m looking for a kind and fun owner who would be willing to join us for a brief adventure for the cost of fuel and then some. It would be a pick up and drop-off at the guest dock on the 21st from about 4pm to 5:30pm. We just want to have a glass of champagne, hang out in the Bay for an hour while our guests arrive, and get dropped off in relative style (and a few toots of the horn If you are that person or know anyone who might fit the bill, please e-mail me at macdaddyo@att.blackberry.net. Electric start essential (nerve damage in arms; can’t pull.) Has to be in good working order for the same reason.

Lightweight engine preferable, but not essential. Long shaft, ditto.

The sooner I have an engine, the sooner I can get my sailboat legally out of the harbor! :-)

Chris, I’d recommend hitting West and buying their bosuns chair or you can hit REI and buy a climbing harness for even less (but it won’t be as comfortable to sit in as a bosuns chair).
